“44-days Patriotic War ended with Azerbaijan’s victory. Mines and unexploded ordnance in liberated territories are still a threat to servicemen and civilians who want to return,” said Samir Poladov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of ANAMA at the briefing held today in ADA University on Mine Awareness and Mine Action Day, APA reports.

S. Poladov noted that with President Ilham Aliyev's decree, the Mine Action Agency was established within ANAMA on January 15, 2021: “Armenia's refusal to give mine maps is a violation of international law. This leads to requiring more time and expense on demining of territories.”
