“The conflict has ended, but peace and restoration is a process, which takes enough time,” said Assistant to Secretary-General of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in charge of Economic Affairs Ahmad Kawesa Sengendo at the press conference on results of the visit of permanent representatives of OIC Contact Group countries to Ganja and Aghdam today, APA reports.
According to Ahmad Kawesa Sengendo, there are many people, who suffer from the conflict: “We pray Allah for the return of the lives of these people to course. We pray mercy for those, who lost their lives during the conflict, wish recovery for the injured.”
Assistant to OIC Secretary-General of in charge of Economic Affairs said that the restoration process is a very difficult process: “Besides economic issues, these people also suffered from psychological point-of-view. The OIC will continue its support to Azerbaijan in these issues too. We call on member states to support. Great works should be done for the return of a large number of people, support is needed for their getting rid of psychological shocks. We call on the OIC countries to stand by Azerbaijan in the restoration process.”
