"In order to prevent such tensions in the region, first of all, the policy of occupation and aggression committed by Armenia against Azerbaijan, which has lasted for almost 30 years, must be stopped. The occupying forces of Armenia must be withdrawn from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, said Assistant of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration told APA TV.

Hajiyev said that all countries concerned about peace and security in the region, especially the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, should intensify their efforts and put an end to Armenia's policy of aggression: "First, the Republic of Azerbaijan will continue its activities in the international political and diplomatic arena. It will inform the relevant international institutions and countries about this criminal act of Armenia and make the necessary statements. The entire international community will be informed. And the Azerbaijani Armed Forces protect and will continue to protect the territorial integrity, sovereignty and inviolability of our borders. If someone in Armenia lives with the fantasies of the 90s, and the Armenian Defense Minister loves computer games, and approaches military operations within the framework of computer games, he is very wrong. Today, in front of Armenia, there is the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, which has great potential and strength among the world's armed forces. These Armed Forces also protect and continue to protect the borders of Azerbaijan and the security of the civilian population. Every provocation of the enemy will be adequately responded to in accordance with the instructions of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.”
