“Yesterday, Armenian Foreign Minister Z. Mnatsakanyan's discussion at the meeting with the so-called "minister" of the illegal regime created by Armenia in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan regarding the attack attempt of aggressive Armenia on the Azerbaijani-Armenian international border is another provocative step of this country. It is clear that holding a toy meeting with a so-called organization is nothing but self-deception” said the head of press service of Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Leyla Abdullayeva.
As for de-escalation and compliance with the ceasefire, L.Abdullayeva stated that ceasefire is not a solution to the conflict. The aim of the ceasefire is to eliminate the main consequences of the conflict and, first of all, to lay the groundwork for comprehensive and substantive negotiations on the withdrawal of troops from the occupied territories, as required by the international community.
