Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia holds a briefing on Armenia

Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia has held a briefing on the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as terrorist acts committed by the Armenian armed forces against the Azerbaijani civilian population, APA’s bureau in Georgia reports.

At the briefing, the embassy staff said that the Armenian armed forces deliberately fired on the Azerbaijani civilian population, violating the humanitarian ceasefire agreement reached during the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Moscow.

Advisor of embassy Eldar Bayramov said that despite agreement on a humanitarian ceasefire reached, Armenian Armed forces attempted to attack in the direction of liberated Hadrut and Jabrayil. Furthermore, on October 11, a rocket blow was inflicted in the civilian residential house in Ganja, the second largest city of Azerbaijan, and as a result 9 civilians killed, 34 injured.

It has been noted at the briefing that at a time when a a humanitarian ceasefire has been reached, weapons and ammunition are being transported to Armenia by civilian planes in violation of the Chicago Convention.
