“A road to Shusha opens from here. Therefore a part of the settlement is being demolished. The road to Shusha passes through the settlement and one part is being demolished in order to open a wide road to Shusha city. A road o Shusha should be wide. As the road passes through there, here-left, right are being demolished,” said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during his visit to Shusha, APA reports.
President noted this road has never existed: “Our hero militaries passed through this territory. We laid this road during just two months. Later, this road will, certainly, be expanded, asphalt will be installed and Azerbaijani citizens will go to Shusha conveniently.
Look, sun has also risen, the Sun is also welcoming us. It lightens our way. We are going to Shusha. To liberated Shusha. Road construction is also underway. I am sure this will be a beautiful road. It will be one of the most beautiful roads of our country. Certainly, it will be established with the highest quality. It is also a picturesque road, a historical road, a road leading to Victory. Sky is also clear. The Sun lightens our way.”
