“I decided to visit Ganja. While diplomats were here, I was sick. Ganja and Belarus have always had close and friendly relations. What I saw at the territory where inflicted missile attack, shocked me,” Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Gennady Akhramovich, who is on a visit to Ganja told reporters, APA reports.

Mr. Ambassador has noted that it is inadmissible to launch missiles into the city while people are sleeping.

The minister called on to observe unwritten rules of war and to avoid shelling residential areas.

The diplomat touched upon the importance of starting peace negotiations as soon as possible. He stressed that Nagorno Karabagh conflict should be resolved within the framework of the resolutions of the UN Security Council on the basis of territorial integrity.

 G. Akhramovich said that Belarus has close relations with the parties of the conflict.
