“Georgia supports the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and doesn’t recognize so-called “Nagorno Garabagh Republic””, reads the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, APA’s local bureau reports.
The statement says the neighbor country doesn’t recognize the second round of the “presidential elections” held in the so-called “Nagorno Garabagh Republic”.
“The Georgian side does not recognize the so-called "Nagorno-Karabakh Republic" and the second round of "presidential elections" in this region of Azerbaijan. Georgia supports the internationally recognized territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Azerbaijan and supports the peaceful settlement of the conflict on the basis of the norms and principles of international law,” reads the statement.
