“Holocaust became Holocaust after receiving its assessment in the Nuremberg Trials,” said Assistant of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev at a briefing on the preliminary results of the investigation of criminal cases committed by Armenia against civilians in various regions of the country far from the front line, including Ganja and other cities, APA reports.

H. Hajiyev noted that the act of Armenia received its assessment at European Court within the framework of Chiragov’s work: “At the same time, there is a need to establish an international military tribunal so that the perpetrators of these acts are brought to justice within the framework of international justice.

Not punishing of such crimes further encourages those who committed such kind of crimes. If the Khojaly genocide committed in 1992 by Armenians had been given a fair assessment, no genocide in Rwanda would have been.”
