Ilham Aliyev: "Azerbaijani state will do its best for a speedy return of former IDPs to their native lands"
- 08 January 2021
"We have great plans. The war ended only two months ago, but notice how much work has already been done. Restoration work has already begun, and this shows again that there is no difference between our words and our deeds. We said that we would restore these lands soon after they are liberated from occupation. I recently said that we would create a paradise in the Karabakh region, and I am keeping my word. It is up to all of us to fulfill these words," said President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev at meeting in a video format on the results of 2020, APA reports.
"Therefore, 2021 should be very significant in this regard. It is in 2021 that the people of Azerbaijan and the whole world will see that our intentions are implemented and our plans come true.
The year has begun, and I wish all of us the best of luck, and good health and happiness to the people of Azerbaijan. I wish the former IDPs a speedy return to their native lands. In any case, the Azerbaijani state will do its best to bring that day closer. The united state of Azerbaijan will continue to develop successfully and confidently," noted the head of state.
