Irish political analyst: “Armenia is losing the war on the battlefields of Karabakh so it is resorting to firing missiles at civilian areas in Azerbaijan”

"Armenia is losing the war on the battlefields of Karabakh so it is resorting to firing missiles at civilian areas in Azerbaijan".

Irish historian and political analyst Patrick Walsh told APA's British bureau.

He said this is meant to goad the Azeris into responding against Armenia proper:
"By doing this the Armenians are seeking to be rescued by Mr. Putin from the position they have foolishly got themselves into".

Patrick Walsh noted that Armenia is attempting to expand the battle for Karabakh into a regional war to save themselves from defeat in Karabakh: "The Armenian attacks against civilians should be strongly condemned by the international community".
