“We concerned about the military conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh. Because two close countries for us from the CIS, Azerbaijan and Armenia had been involved in this conflict. Unfortunately, military operations have resulted in numerous human losses,” said Russian President Vladimir Putin in his speech in a summit of the heads of CIS countries, held in videoconference format, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
He reminded that with the mediation of Russia trilateral statement on the cessation of military operations in Nagorno-Karabakh was signed: “The important thing is that this statement, in general, is being carried out consistently. Russian peacekeepers deployed along the line of contact are doing everything to not escalating of the situation again. Now the international community and of course our countries have a task to help the solution of the humanitarian problems in the damaged regions.”
