“At the meeting, we have exchanged views on Nagorno Garabagh conflict, discussed the next steps in the direction of the resolution of the conflict. We understand, despite being difficult, there are opportunities for compromise,” said Sergei Lavrov, Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, at a press conference in Baku following a meeting with the Foreign Minister Republic of Azerbaijan, Elmar Mammadyarov, APA reports.
Russian Minister emphasized that the Nagorno Garabagh conflict is one of the longest-standing conflicts in the former Soviet republics: "We are grateful that the parties take into account our suggestions in bilateral relations as co-chair of the Minsk Group."
