Nagorno Garabagh conflict  discussed at meeting of FMs of Turkic Council

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ramiz Hasanov informed of issues on the agenda of the extraordinary meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of member states of Council of Cooperation of Turkic-speaking states (Turkic Council) and being discussed, APA reports.

Deputy Minister stated that priority areas, issues on the agenda and observer status of non-member states, determination of the status of the Honorary President were discussed during the presidency of Azerbaijan to the Council.

R. Hasanov noted that Nagorno Garabagh conflict has also been touched upon at the meeting. Azerbaijani FM Elmar Mammadyarov expressed his gratitude to the FMs of Turkic Council for their support to Azerbaijan.

Deputy Minister stressed importance of expansion of cooperation among member states, increase of relations within the framework of the Turkic Council, and recognition of the organization in the international sphere.
