“Initially, 2,2 billion manats were allocated from the state budget for the restoration of the liberated territories,” said Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov at today’s meeting of Milli Majlis, APA reports.
Prime Minister noted that reorganization of ANAMA indicates a qualitatively new organization of demining of the liberated areas: “The main task is to clear the liberated territories from mines. Currently, Azerbaijan has started a completely new era in connection with the Great Return to the liberated territories. At this stage, the main strategic task is to ensure the rapid integration of those areas into the economy of the country. For this purpose, in accordance with the instruction of President Ilham Aliyev, i is planned to carry out restoration and reconstruction work in the liberated territories, including the creation of socio-economic, energy, utilities, transport infrastructure, the implementation of a rational settlement policy, and thus the creation of comprehensive conditions for citizens returning to their homeland for living and working activities."
