Monitoring is being conducted with the participation of specialists of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences in order to plan assessment and restoration work in the Basitchay State Nature Reserve locating in the Zangilan region, APA reports.
It has been noted at the meeting of the Working Group on Environmental issues of the Interdepartmental Center operating under the Coordination Headquarters established for the centralized solution of issues in the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
It is noted in the meeting that implementation of the Group's sectoral action plan by the relevant bodies. Thus, complex monitoring is being conducted in order to assess ecological situation in the liberated territories from the occupation and transboundary rivers are being controlled.
As well as, joint plan-program has been developed with the relevant state bodies in order to study the radiological and radioecological situation in the liberated territories from the occupation and added to the sectoral plan.
