Russia calls Azerbaijan and Armenia to refrain from revanchist and militarist rhetoric, said Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova at the briefing held today, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.

According to M. Zakharova, such rhetoric could lead the region to the brink of war again: “We consider that the statements of Baku and Yerevan, practical steps must be in accordance with the trilateral statements dated November 9, 2020, and January 11, 2021, by Russian, Azerbaijani and Armenian leaders. When it comes to open economic and transport relations in the region, this issue is also relevant to the logic I voiced”.
