“Co-chairs plan to pay a visit to the region - Baku and Yerevan next month,” said Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov at the press conference dedicated to results of negotiations with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
S. Lavrov said in addition to this, the organization of contact of ministers of Foreign Affairs at some phase with the help of co-chairs is being planned.
“But in order to ensure implementation of these plans, it is already important to stop any incidents not in Nagorno Garabagh and adjacent territories, but on Armenia-Azerbaijan border in terms of normalization of the situation. We hope that the incidents that occurred in July will not repeat anymore and we will provide every support to this together with other interested countries and our friends from Azerbaijan and Armenia”, the Russian minister stressed.
