Russian Foreign Ministry commented on the process of returning Azerbaijani IDPs to the liberated territories

Official representative of Russian MFA Mariya Zakharova has commented on the returning process of Azerbaijani IDPs to the liberated from occupation Nagorno Karabakh and surrounding regions, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.

M. Zakharova said at a briefing today that the process of returning Armenians to Nagorno-Karabakh, who left their homes due to the events of last autumn, is intensive.

“We consider that Article 7 of the November 9 trilateral statement penned by the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia applies to anyone who was obliged to leave their former places of residence,” the official of Russian MFA emphasized.
