"Despite the coronavirus pandemic, work on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict continues," Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova at a briefing today, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
She recalled the telephone conversations of the Russian Foreign Minister with his Azerbaijani and Armenian counterparts.
M. Zakharova said that the telephone conversations touched upon the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
“Regular contacts with sides are carried out by co-chairs of OSCE Minsk Group and Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk. The main attention in ongoing consultations remains on coronavirus infection and its impact on the negotiations process as well as the issues regarding the settlement of Nagorno Garabagh conflict. The situation on the border and on the contact line of troops is being discussed,” the representative of Russian MFA stressed.
