“We require justice for Khojaly. Khojaly event should be fairly investigated and most importantly perpetrators of such brutal-military crime and killers of many innocent people should be judged”, Editor-in-Chief of “National Defense” magazine of Russia, retired colonel, well known military expert Igor Korotchenko told APA’s Moscow correspondent.
“According to the international legal norms and Geneva Convention, civilian people must be protected during military operations. However, we witnessed completely contradiction to international norms in Khojaly. Civilian innocent people were killed consciously. I think justice should win in Khojaly. Names of military criminals, who killed civilian people and persons who ordered the crime should be sounded, they must be brought to justice. If we take into consideration there is no duration for crimes committed against humanity, mankind, then I think a process must be launched for bringing to justice the criminals and those who ordered at the international level. Just in this way, we can restore justice in Khojaly”, stressed Russian military expert.
