Russian military servicemen to operate in Russia-Turkey Joint Center prepare to come to Azerbaijan - PHOTO

Russian servicemen start to work at the Russian-Turkish Joint Center to monitor the ceasefire and all military activities in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports citing the Russian Defence Ministry.

Russian servicemen are preparing to jointly fulfill their responsibilities for monitoring the ceasefire and are preparing to arrive in Azerbaijan.

Personnel of the Joint Center, represented on a parity basis from the Russian and Turkish sides, will perform the tasks of monitoring the situation and control over compliance with the regime of firefighting and all military activities using the equipment.

The joint Russian-Turkish Center for Control over the Suppression of Fire and All Military Activities in the Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict Zone will be expanded on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan in accordance with the Memorandum signed by the 11th Federal Republic of Russia. The headquarters of the Joint Center is formed in the form of a command post on a parity basis, in which there is an equal number of representatives from each side with the head of each national structure.
