“It is important that the Khojaly genocide should be made known to the world, and to stand by Azerbaijan in its just fight,” said Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) Mustafa Sentop during his speech at the opening of an exhibition dedicated to 29th anniversary of Khojaly genocide at parliament, APA’s bureau in Turkey reports.
“We feel in our hearts the Khojaly tragedy, which is a black spot in the history of humankind,” emphasized M. Sentop.
The speaker noted that Azerbaijan did not target innocent people in the 44-day war.
“After this, Turkey will continue to stand with Azerbaijani brothers in their just fight,” M. Sentop noted.
