“Is a basis left for the future efforts for the settlement of Nagorno Garabagh conflict, how the efficiency of these efforts can be increased? I would like to say the basis for the settlement of the conflict has been prepared quite seriously and it would be very sad to lose this basis”, said minister of foreign affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov at the press conference dedicated to results of negotiations with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
The Russian minister also said that there are attempts to destroy this basis: “It is regrettable that we have witnessed such attempts. These also include the attempts of changing the composition of the negotiations. Which is considered inadmissible by the co-chairs and we have openly stated this”.
