As is known, today the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces declared a state of war throughout the country. I want to emphasize that the state of war does not mean the announcement of mobilization in our country, " said head of the department of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription of the Republic of Azerbaijan Colonel Ajdar Babazade, APA reports

A. Babazadeh said that according to the current legislation, mobilization is a set of measures to transfer the economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, executive authorities, local governments and organizations to the wartime regime, the Armed Forces and special forces to the organizational structure of the wartime. Today, not mobilization, but the state of war was declared in the country. If the mobilization is announced, it will be announced through the media and social networks. The State Service for Mobilization and Conscription expresses its gratitude to our citizens for their high patriotism. If necessary, reservists will be called to local structural units of the Service in accordance with the requirements of existing legislation and will be involved in measures to ensure the defense of the country and the security of the state.
