Tural Ganjaliyev: “Armenia does not care about life of Armenians living in Garabagh”
- 15 April 2020
“Currently, the greatest problem faced by the world is the coronavirus pandemic that doesn’t recognize borders”, said in a statement Tural Ganjaliyev, head of the Azerbaijani community of Nagorno Garabagh region of the Azerbaijan Republic, APA reports.
It is noted in the statement that the Azerbaijan Government takes necessary preventative steps in order to ensure the health and security of citizens and to protect them from social and economic fallouts created by the pandemic: “22 hospitals have been allocated countrywide for treatment of coronavirus patients. During March, 3 new hospitals were opened in Azerbaijan’s regions, in Goranboy, Gazakh and Shamkir cities. The New clinic with 575 beds recently commissioned in Baku has been envisaged for the treatment of coronavirus patients. Over 70,000 tests have been conducted in Azerbaijan for medical examination of the coronavirus patients.
The financial volume of the state support programs aimed at the solution of economic, macroeconomic and employment problems covering over 600,000 people is AZN 2.5 billion. The mentioned measures are just a part of the state support implemented in Azerbaijan”.
T. Ganjaliyev noted that Armenia, which is holding the captive Armenian community of Nagorno-Karabakh in the occupied Azerbaijani lands, does not allow using social, economic, medical and other projects and programs implemented in Azerbaijan: “Thus, although weeks ago Azerbaijani community of Nagorno Garabagh informed about the spread of coronavirus in our occupied territories and despite the warning by us, illegal “election” show was held on March 31, 2020, by the regime which is the puppet of Armenia by hiding infection cases. After this, despite Armenia confessed the spread of the virus, on April 14, again by endangering the lives of all the people, the second round of “election” show was organized. All of these show that ordinary Armenians living in Nagorno Garabagh are a tool for Armenia’s hideous political games and Armenia does not care about the lives and health of the people there."
Armenian authority and representatives of the so-called “regime” consider worthless lives of ordinary members of the Armenian Community, living in Nagorno Garabagh and continues to prevent their benefit from treatment opportunities like Azerbaijani citizens.
The key line of politics of the Republic of Azerbaijan is Azerbaijani citizens and the protection of their interests.
We declare once more that after Armenian troops are removed from occupied territories, the Armenian and Azerbaijani communities of Nagorno Garabagh will live together and peacefully within the framework of internationally-recognized borders of the Republic of Azerbaijan and benefit from authorities of being a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan with equal rights.”
