UN supports agreement on suspending military operations in Garabagh

The UN welcomes agreement among Moscow, Baku and Yerevan and will do everything help to the parties in fulfilling the agreements, said Stephane Dujarric, Spokesperson for the United Nations Secretary-General at the the briefing, APA reports citing Ria Novosti.

“We are very grateful to Russian leadership for work they done,” said Stephane Dujarric noting that UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres was "relieved" to receive information about the agreement.

“Our sense of relief is due to our hope that this will end the suffering of the civilian population. We welcome that this agreement reached. We will do our utmost to provide support to the parties for implementation of these agreements,” the official said.
