Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov once again commented on the Armenian leadership's statement on the importance of joining the negotiating process of the separatist Nagorno-Karabakh regime, ONA reports.
Mr Mammadyarov in an interview of "Kommersant" while answering the question "Arguing the need to include the authorities of the self-proclaimed "NKR" in the negotiation format, your Armenian colleague stated that they do not obey Yerevan, that is, Yerevan cannot impose on them a hypothetical solution that you and Zohar Mnatsakanyan can reach at the talks. What can answer such an argument?" said: "Did you ask in Yerevan where the sons of some representatives of the top political leadership of the Republic of Armenia are serving? Where do the current president and prime minister of this country go so often? At the expense of those taxpayers in the bulk is formed the budget of the puppet formation you mentioned?"
The Minister said everything is quite simple: "The Republic of Azerbaijan acts as a vis-a-vis the Republic of Armenia as a party to the conflict. This format was approved by the decision of the Council of Ministers of the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe of March 24, 1992. These are the realities. Everything else is either speculation or attempts to delay the settlement process under a false pretext."
