Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan (MFA) has commented on the statement of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made while his speech at the opening ceremony of the “7th Pan-Armenian Games”, held in occupied Khankandi region of Azerbaijan, regarding the participation of some countries for the first time as well as United Arab Amirates, Azerbaijani MFA told APA.
“It is not the first time we face with the statements of Armenian officials that not reflects the truth. The Embassy of our country to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has addressed a note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of that country regarding the above-mentioned issue and in the reply note MFA of UAE stated that no any UAE citizen had participated in the event held in Nagorno Karabakh. As it is seen, the Armenian side by purposefully disseminating the untruthful information tries to create an image of “recognition” of illegal separatist regime. On its turn, all these kind of attempts result in the revelation of spread false information at the end”, said in the information.
