Member of Parliament Ganira Pashayeva has made a speech during the discussions of report “Situation in Syria: prospects for political solutions?” at PACE on behalf of the Free Democrats Group and addressed to the European organization and countries, APA reports.

She condemned occupant Armenia for the placement of Armenian refugees escaped from Syria and called PACE to pressure Armenia to stop these actions:

"Syrian war that continues for several years has led to the worst humanitarian crisis facing the world after the Second World War. Turkmens, our cognates who fled from Syria wanted us in our meeting to voice their wishes. It is important for member states to support people who are obliged to flee from Syria due to tragedies regardless their ethnic and religious affiliation, However, it is not right to use them in dirty political games and this is also reflected in international documents. I would like to stress that the deployment of Armenian refugees by Armenian authorities not in Yerevan but in occupied Azerbaijani territories is contrary to the calls of OSCE missions and state the importance of stopping these actions."
