OSCE Secretary General positively assessed the decrease of tensions between Azerbaijan and Armenia

Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with OSCE Secretary General Thomas Greminger in New York, the Armenian MFA stated, APA reports citing Armenpress.

During the meeting, the sides discussed ways to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

“At the request of the Secretary General, the Armenian FM introduced the current state of the peaceful settlement process of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, in particular, his recent meeting with the Azerbaijani FM in New York under the mediation and participation of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs. The sides positively assessed the relative decrease of tensions in recent months. The need to take consistent actions to form atmosphere of trust was also emphasized, also through the implementation of agreements reached in the past,” the statement of Armenian MFA reads.
