Russian Culture Ministry Federation responds to Azerbaijan Community’s appeal on film shooting in Nagorno-Karabakh - PHOTO

Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation has responded to the appeal of Azerbaijan Community in Moscow as a protest against “Valter” movie shooting plans of Armenian film director Robert Deaf and Russian film director Rano Kubayeva in occupied Nagorno-Karabakh, Shamil Tagiyev, head of Azerbaijan Community in Moscow told APA’s Moscow bureau.

According to him, his appeal to Russian Culture Minister Vladimir Medinsky on August 6 was responded on August 30: “The Ministry of Culture of Russian Federation says appeals on political characters in Vega film Company’s movie, called “Valter”. According to the final report of the Council of Experts of Cinematography Department of the Ministry of Culture of Russian Federation dated August 15, 2019, it has been recommended to include “Valter” movie (the first full lentgh film of the film director) in reserve of 2019.”
