Azerbaijani Community of Moscow, acting in Russia, has applied to Vladimir Medinksy, the Russian Minister of Culture, in order to object to the “Valter” movie’s shooting in occupied Azerbaijani territory – Nagorno-Karabakh, conducted by Armenian film director Robert Deaf and Russian film director Rano Kubayeva, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.

Shooting plans of the film, of which leading actor is French actor Bibi Naceri, have been condemned in the application sent by the Head of Azerbaijan Community in Moscow Shamil Tagiyev.

“The producer of the film, General Diretor of the Vega Film Company Ekaterina Mikhaylova is said that their shooting plans are severe violation of international right norms, Azerbaijani legislation, and many existing agreements between Russia and Azerbaijan. The cinema company and the actors of the Ministy of Culture of Russia are asked to pay attention on the unthought measures and to prevent the sabotage, conducted by the film customers”, said in the application.
