Armenian MPs to attend Euronest PA conference in Baku - UPDATED

Head of the Armenian delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly Armen Ashotyan and delegation member Mane Tandilyan will arrive in Baku to take part in a conference of the Assembly’s Committee on Social Affairs, Education, Culture and Civil Society, APA reported citing Armenpress.
The conference is due to take place on September 22.
The conference, titled “The role of parliaments in promoting women's health and gender equality in Eastern Partnership countries within the framework of the 3rd and 5th Sustainable Development Goals” will be held in Baku on September 22, the Azerbaijani delegation to the Euronest PA told APA.
The event will be co-organized by the Azerbaijani Parliament, the Committee on Social Affairs, Education, Culture and Civil Society of the Euronest PA, the UN Baku Office and the European Parliamentary Forum on Population and Development.
Representatives of the European Parliament and deputies of the Euronest PA member states, UN officials, representatives of the Inter-Parliamentary Union of the European Parliament on Population and Development and international experts will take part in the conference.
