Azerbaijan instructs construction companies to timely complete the work in liberated Jojug Marjanli

The State Committee of Azerbaijan for Affairs of Refugees and IPDs held a meeting with directors of the companies that will take part in the construction of a new settlement in the liberated Jojug Marjanli village of the country’s Jabrayil district.

The meeting was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov, the State Committee told APA on Monday.

On 24 January 2017, President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on measures to restore the liberated Jojug Marjanli village.

The State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs will receive 4 million manats from the Presidential Reserve Fund for 2017 for construction of 50 houses, a school building and the relevant infrastructure at the first stage, according to the order.

Ali Hasanov instructed the company directors to complete the construction in a timely manner and at a high level in line with building standards.

The deputy PM said the construction of 50 private houses, a 96-seat school and related infrastructure will soon be launched in the village in accordance with the presidential order.

Hasanov went on to say that at the first stage, 20 two-room, 25 three-room and 5 four-room apartments will be constructed, road network construction and landscaping work will be carried out. The residential complex will be provided with electricity, gas and water.

He noted that in the next stage, it’s planned to build another settlement for 200 families in the village. The company directors in turn pledged to do everything possible to complete the work qualitatively and in a timely manner.
