Azerbaijan reiterates readiness to intensify talks for early settlement of Karabakh conflict - <span style="color: red;">UPDATED

Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Elmar Mammadyarov met with the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs and Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk in Paris on May 25, the spokesman for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Hikmat Hajiyev, told APA.

The parties underlined the importance of intensifying the negotiations as the elections in Azerbaijan and Armenia are over, said Hajiyev.

Minister Mammadyarov once again reiterated Azerbaijan’s readiness to intensify the negotiations for an early settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the spokesman added.

The sides had a lengthy discussion about measures to be taken by the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs to achieve progress in the negotiation process, as well as the situation in the region.
