The April battles are a brilliant victory, which once again demonstrated the power of the Azerbaijani state and showed once again that Azerbaijan will never reconcile with the occupation of its lands, said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
“We will give an adequate response to all the provocations. Meanwhile, the myth created by Armenia over the years has been destroyed during the April battles,” the president said Tuesday, addressing a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to the results of socioeconomic development of 2016 and objectives for the future, APA reported.
Armenians admit that they can’t stand against Azerbaijan for a week without assistance from abroad, President Aliyev stressed.
Azerbaijan’s position in connection with the implementation of the UN Security Council resolutions that demand the liberation of the occupied Azerbaijani territories remains unchanged, added the president.
