Russia hopes for the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for Russia’s Foreign Ministry, told a briefing on Thursday, an APA correspondent reported from Moscow.
Zakharova made the remarks when asked about Moscow’s future stance on the Karabakh conflict’s settlement after the presidential elections to be held in Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia.
“Russia continues to actively participate in the implementation of agreements between the parties to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. There is hope for the conflict resolution. We pay close attention to this issue, and most importantly we take an active part in the implementation of the actions planned by the parties,” the spokesperson added.
