“Under the instructions of Mr. President, we will bring this barbarism and this crime to the attention of the international community,” Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev said while speaking to local and foreign media in Ganja.
H. Hajiyev noted that the Armenian side made some appeals and called for a ceasefire on humanitarian grounds: “However, immediately following this, the Armenian Armed Forces, using a very dangerous weapon - the "Tochka-U" system, shelled densely populated areas in Ganja. There are casualties among civilians. So far, the death toll reached 9 and there are more than 30 injured.”
