150 Kamaz and Iveco fire extinguishers purchased for fire protection in liberated areas

On December 9, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, viewed special-purpose equipment purchased by the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) to be used in the liberated territories and modern ambulances purchased by the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance, APA reports.

Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov, reported to the head of state.

President Ilham Aliyev was informed that 100 Kamaz brand fire extinguishers and 50 Iveco special-purpose fire extinguishers were purchased by the Ministry of Emergency Situations for fire protection in the liberated territories. 9 of the Iveco vehicles have already been imported, and 41 are expected to be imported in the first quarter of 2023.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations purchased 5 Nissan Patrol vehicles, 11 Lada Niva Travel vehicles, and 6 cars of the GAZEL brand (3 of them were imported, the rest will be imported before the end of this year) in order to carry out special rescue operations in various man-made, natural accidents and traffic accidents, transport goods and auxiliary materials in the liberated territories.

Noted that 4 modern robotic mine detectors "GCS (Global Clearance Solutions) - 200" with a diesel engine and remote control purchased by the Ministry will be used to clear territories contaminated with infantry and anti-tank mines in areas liberated from occupation.

Among the presented equipment there are also cars of the brand "Ural".

These vehicles are also designed to transport goods and perform other work during a fire.
