“We consider Azerbaijan and Armenia Iran’s neighbors,” said Iran’s Foreign Minister Huseyn Amir Abdullahiyan at the press conference held today, APA’s Tehran bureau reports.

“We do not settle our relations with the superiority of one party over the other,” noted Iranian FM.

He reminded his visit to Armenia last month and added that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also visited Tehran, and Azerbaijan’s media circles reacted to this.

“I insistently stress that we consider Azerbaijan and Armenia as two neighbors of the Islamic Republic of Iran. It is based on mutual interests and priority policy in relations with neighbors,” stressed Huseyn Amir Abdullahiyan.

According to the minister, Iran does not have an interest, and an eye on the lands of the neighboring states, as well as the Republic of Azerbaijan.
