In 2022-2026, the work to be done to ensure a great return to the territories liberated from occupation territories has been determined, APA reports.
It was reflected in the "Socio-economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2022─2026," approved by the order of President Ilham Aliyev.
The Strategy envisage increasing the share of the liberated from occupation territories in the economic activity of the country.
In other words, if in 2021 the share of greenery in the territories liberated from the occupation was 12%, in 2026, the goal is to increase this indicator to 12.3% (an additional 30 thousand ha area). If the share of unusable land was 25% in 2021, it is planned to reduce the area of unusable land by 10% to 15% in 2026.
