On September 15, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, met with the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in Samarkand, APA reports.
During the meeting, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his condolences to President Ilham Aliyev, the people of Azerbaijan, and the relatives of the servicemen who became martyrs while preventing large-scale provocations committed by the Armenian Armed Forces on the state border.
The head of state expressed his gratitude to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for his condolences.
It has been noted once again at the meeting between President Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Samarkand that Azerbaijan and Türkiye stand by each other, APA reports.
At the meeting, it has been emphasized that the strategic alliance relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye are developing successfully in all fields.
Heads of state have discussed joint projects on cooperation in fields of energy, transport, logistics, and others and exchanged views on future contacts.
