Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev touched upon EU-Azerbaijan relations while receiving a delegation led by President of the Parliament (Riigikogu) of the Republic of Estonia Juri Ratas on May 25, APA reports.
The President praised the results of his recent visit to Brussels.
Noting the statement made by EU Council President Charles Michel during his visit, the Azerbaijani President said that the European Union played an important role in normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Noting the importance of relations with the European Union for our country, the President said that these relations are multifaceted and cover other areas in addition to traditional energy, noting that the modern transport infrastructure created in our country and Azerbaijan's relations with the Caspian littoral states and the West It will play a very important role in the interaction between Asia.
