President of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanovic has sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.
"Dear Mr. President.
On behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Croatia and on my own behalf, I am pleased to extend my sincere congratulations to you on the occasion of the national holiday of Azerbaijan - Independence Day, and my wishes for progress and prosperity for your citizens.
I am confident that as friendly countries we will continue to work to develop our relations in all areas and identify new areas of cooperation. Economic opportunities can be a stimulus for more important and closer cooperation between our countries.
I hope that in the near future we will have the opportunity to exchange views on the prospects for further development of our relations and important issues on the increasingly complex global agenda."
