"I can say you that the situation on conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia was not only a regional issue, but it was also a global issue. Because it was not violation and non-implementation of only international principles, but also UN Security Council resolutions," President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said addressing Baku conference of the Parliamentary Network of Non-Aligned Movement, APA reports.

"In 1993, the UN Security Council adopted four resolutions requiring full, immediate, and unconditional withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from our territories. And the question is why these resolutions have not been implemented? No one can answer. Maybe, they do not want to answer. Another question is why UN Security Council resolutions are implemented within just days in some cases, but regarding us, they have remained only on a paper for 28 years," stressed head of state.

President Ilham Aliyev noted that if Azerbaijan did not have brave servicemen, UN resolutions would remain on paper for another 28 years.
