"Independent character of Azerbaijan's foreign policy is based on our national interests and achievements at a maximum level," said President Ilham Aliyev as he made a speech at the international conference under the motto, APA reports.
"We should think of security and cooperation in our region as an integral part of our today and future. Because, without security, there will not be cooperation and economic benefits. Azerbaijan's economic performance based on its own resources also comes from stability, long-lasting stability which is a part of security," stressed the head of state.
