On January 18, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with Bernard Looney, BP's chief executive director, APA reports.
It was mentioned that the BP company is operating in Azerbaijan for a long time. The transition of energy projects of Azerbaijan to a new stage, increase of gas volume, more active participation of BP company in renewable energy projects, and expansion of existing projects were discussed.
Bernard Looney expressed his gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the long-term strategic cooperation.
The chief executive director of the BP Group delivered his congratulations to President Ilham Aliyev regarding the great achievements and rapid development processes achieved in Azerbaijan. Bernard Looney, who emphasized the importance of Azerbaijan's successes despite the great financial difficulties in the world, also noted the large-scale works carried out in the field of construction infrastructure in the liberated territories.
Bernard Looney noted with confidence that achievements in Azerbaijan are the beginning of the great development processes.
