"What you have seen, I think, is best illustrations of what we had to experience during the thirty years of occupation. And these mass destructions and devastations were not results of the Karabakh war, but were a result of barbarism and vandalism committed by Armenia throughout of thirty years of occupation," said President Ilham Aliyev as he made a speech at the international conference under the motto “South Caucasus: Development and Cooperation” held at ADA University, APA reports.
According to the head of state, all our villages, most of our cities have been destroyed, knocked to the ground during occupation.
"In some regions like Kalbajar, Lachin and partly Zangilan and Shusha, they have been illegal settlements programs officially sponsored by the Armenian government which is a brutal violation of international conventions," has stressed President Ilham Aliyev.
