"If a peace agreement is signed and those basic principles are known then the peace in South Caucasus will be long lasting and sustainable," said President Ilham Aliyev as he made a speech at the international conference under the motto “South Caucasus: Development and Cooperation” held at ADA University, APA reports.
"I think these are important signs of recent development. And also it shows that now after a year and a half passed since the second Karabakh war Armenian leadership and I hope the population understands the necessity of peace. And if a peace agreement is signed and those basic principles are known then the peace in South Caucasus will be long lasting and sustainable," noted the Head of state.
